New York (June 18, 2026) -- WPP Enterprise Solutions, the business transformation arm of WPP, has entered into a multiyear Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The partnership designates WPP Enterprise Solutions as a specialist partner on the AWS platform for commerce and customer experience, enabling the company to help clients deploy agentic and generative AI across their marketing stacks.

Through the agreement, WPP Enterprise Solutions teams will gain access to a suite of AWS's AI production tools, including the Amazon Marketing Cloud Center of Excellence, which connects creative production directly to commerce outcomes on Amazon; the Composable Content Engine, built on the Bedrock platform, which allows franchisees and local marketers to generate brand-compliant assets at scale; and the Agentic and CX Commerce Accelerators, which provide a blueprint for deploying autonomous workflows across a brand's marketing ecosystem.

The collaboration builds on existing momentum: 40 global clients are already using AWS tools through WPP Enterprise Solutions. Among them is equipment rental company United Rentals, for which WPP built an AI agent — first launched on Amazon Bedrock Agents and since evolved to Amazon Bedrock AgentCore — that helps customers identify thousands of rentable items across its website and AI platforms, improving product discovery speed by 70%.

WPP Enterprise Solutions can also publish proprietary agents and tools on the AWS Marketplace, expanding its visibility to new potential clients and creating an additional commercial pathway for the company's IP.

The partnership follows the formation of WPP Enterprise Solutions earlier this year as part of CEO Cindy Rose's broader turnaround strategy, which has also included expanded technology partnerships with Google and Adobe. The transformation unit now employs 12,000 people across 40 markets.

At some point when we talk to clients around agentic marketing, commerce, or CX, we're going to bump into software, solutions, and processing power that is in some way being touched by AWS. This collaboration gives us focused access to each other's companies in a way that's beneficial to our clients — it's a technology route to market for the intellectual property in our heads, and it unlocks significant new opportunity for our business.
